Established/Current Teams
Every established team will be able to protect 20
players. You will need to list your remaining players in
order of preference to add to the protected list once a player is
drafted from your team.
If you don't send a list of players to protect. The
Commissioner will use the following method.
All 8 players from the starting lineup, 1 from your bench, all 5
pitchers from your rotation, top 3 pitchers from the bullpen, and 3
players from AAA that the Commissioner chooses.
|
Every time an unprotected player is drafted from your team, you'll be
able to protect an additional player. But, if you don't
send in a list you lose this right. |
If a team loses 5 or more players to the expansion draft they will
receive $1 Million. |
