Players currently on your roster may be resigned at any time that the “Negotiate” button is available while not in Commissioner mode.

New contracts MAY include player option years, team option years and/or no-trade requirements.

The league settings for salary demands have been set to a point such that there is no loyalty discount for resigning players.

You may resign a player for any amount that the player will accept. To resign a player, send the details of your negotiations to the commissioner.

There is a certain amount of randomness to BBM2K9 salary negotiations, so the negotiation may not turn out exactly the same way every time. So don’t be surprised, alarmed or upset if the commissioners negotiations with your player turn out slightly different than your own. The difference in salaries won’t be enough to be worth arguing about.
