Upgrading Your Stadium - An owner can only change the stadium one time, and the change must occur in the off season. A new owner taking over a team can change his stadium, even if the previous owner already changed it.
Note: Any change made will count as your one time. If you want to make several changes, but can't afford to do all of them right now, you should wait until you get the money to do everything at once.

bullet

Field Dimensions - for non-historical stadiums are:
bullet

Foul Lines between 300 and 390 feet
Power Alleys between 360 and 420 feet
Center Field between 395 and 475 feet

bullet

Each wall costs $1,000 to move, with a total of $5,000 to move all five.

bullet

Field dimensions must be reasonable. Foul line dimensions must be smaller than power alley dimensions, and power alley dimensions must be smaller than the center field dimension.

bullet

  As noted above, historically accurate stadiums are exempt from these outfield wall restrictions.

bullet

Playing Surface - Cannot be changed and must all stay natural grass.

bullet

Stadium Type - Cannot be changed and must all stay open.

bullet

Field Rating Changes -
* Infield quality cost $2,000 per step.
* Infield grass length changes are free.
* Visibility changes are $2,000 per step.
* Foul ground changes are $2,000 per step (tiny, small, average, large, huge).

bullet

Seating Upgrades -
* Comfort: $500 per step.
* Convenience: $1,000 per step.
* Sight lines: $1,000 per step.

bullet

Adding Seats - You can add seats up to a maximum stadium capacity of 40,000. Seats are added in blocks of 1,000 with each block costing $500.

Example: Going from 18,000 to 40,000 would be 22 blocks at $500 each for a total cost of $11,000.

bullet

Building New Stadium - We are currently not allowing the building of new stadiums. However, with the upgrades shown above, it is not necessary to build a new stadium. You can remake your current stadium to whatever you want, within the guidelines shown above.
